Coaching is the most crowded market we scored

We took apart 174 of these before building one, and coaching came back with more supply than any of the other 39 industries in the study. Your prospect has taken several already this year. That is the bar, and the rest of this page is about clearing it rather than pretending it is not there.

Not open yet. Ours scores your own acquisition, and it is the fastest way to judge whether we are worth an hour.

The market view

High supply, and demand that has not moved to meet it

Two scores out of ten, from our own 40-industry dataset. Supply counts who is already selling this here. Demand counts how badly the buyer needs it.

9.6

supply, out of 10. The highest of the 40 industries scored, and the only one above 9 on both vendor and template density40 B2B industries, 14 dimensions eachQuiz Funnel Opportunity Atlas, 2026

5.62

demand, out of 10. Buyer pain, deal value and education need are all mid-table here, which is the harder half of the problemSame dataset, same scoringQuiz Funnel Opportunity Atlas, 2026

The gap between those two is minus 3.98. It is the worst of the 40 and it is not close. Every other page in this section of the site opens on a sector where nobody is doing this yet.

High supply is not a reason to walk away. It is a reason to know exactly what is already used up before you spend money on the next one.

Already spent

Three things the crowd has used up

None of these is a criticism of anyone’s work. They are simply gone, and a build that depends on them starts behind.

Novelty

A scored assessment was a reason to click in 2019. Your prospect has taken four of them this year and can name the pattern before question three.

Flattery

Bands written so nobody lands in the bottom one. Everyone reads “high potential, some gaps” and nobody books anything, because nothing was at stake in the answer.

The generic model

Mindset, clarity, systems, team. Four factors that fit every coach in your market, which is another way of saying they identify nobody and separate no one.

What survives all three is the same thing that survives in every other sector we scored: a model with something at stake in it.

What holds

Four things a crowded market has not been able to copy

Two of them need data you already hold. One of them needs nerve. The fourth is the reason your renewals get easier.

A number they can take to somebody else

Not a type and not a label. A figure attached to their own revenue, margin, hours or headcount, in a document that survives being forwarded to a spouse, a board or a co-founder. The people who fund the decision are rarely the people who answered.

A comparison they cannot make alone

“Am I normal for my size?” is the one question a coaching prospect cannot answer from their own data, and the one your cohort already holds the answer to. Every year you run it the comparison gets harder for anyone else to copy.

The nerve to disqualify

The crowded version books everyone. The version that earns its place tells a third of them they are not ready and says why. Fewer applications, better calls, and a reputation that does the work the ad spend was doing.

A second reading

The same instrument run again at month six turns your programme from a promise into a measurement. It is also the cleanest renewal conversation available to anyone selling time.
The 10 services behind those four

What changes

The application form asks. It does not sort.

An application tells you someone is interested. A scored model tells you which third of them to put in the diary this week, and gives the other two thirds something worth having.

The routing is the commercial decision and it gets written before a single question does. High scorers reach a calendar. Everyone else gets a sequence built from what they actually reported, not from the ad they clicked.

Fewer calls, and the ones that happen start twenty minutes ahead of where they used to.

A band that flatters everyone is a band that qualifies nobody.

Your traffic

Same model, different temperature at the door

We have no research row saying where coaching leads come from, so this is offered as a choice rather than as a description of you.

If you buy paid social

Cold traffic will not fill in an application. It will answer a question about its own business, which is the cheapest way into a list that sorts itself.

Packages

Three packages, fixed scope, nothing open ended

One instrument built and live, the funnel around it, or the programme with the re-score and the second question set in it.

In a market this crowded the first package is the one we would think hardest about, because a single instrument with no routing behind it is the version that has already been done to your prospect four times. That is a judgement about the crowding, not a rule.

Prices are not published yet because they are not final. When they are, they go on the pricing page as numbers.

What is in each package

Questions

The awkward ones, first

Because the alternative is a page that told you it was a wide open opportunity, and you would have known that was not true. The crowding is real and it raises the bar. It does not mean nothing works here. It means the generic version of this has already been spent, and the version with a cohort comparison or a disqualifying band behind it has not.

The rest of the questions

Your turn

Judge us on the one we built for ourselves

Ours scores the four things that decide whether the attention you already have turns into booked calls, and hands back a number, a band and a report. If it is not better than the four your prospect has taken, you have your answer.

Not running yet. The report is yours whatever the score says.
